People were inspired by roses over the ages, therefore they developed a language of roses. They assigned meanings to color, variation and quantity of roses being gifted. Traditionally, rose is considered the flower of Love. Roses are the most perfect way to say “ I Love You ♥ “ .

Red Rose – LOVE;

To show love and passion or great respect – give red roses. The quantity can also have a special meaning. A single red rose shows love, a dozen- gratitude, twenty-five show congratulations or greetings, and fifty – unconditional love.

White Rose – Purity;

The meaning of white rose arises from mythology, for instance Aphrodite (Venus) the Goddess of love. White roses are presented to those who are reverent, innocent, and pure. They can also be given as a sign of secrecy. They are often used in weddings.

Pink rose – Gratitude;

The general meaning of pink roses is thankfulness, admiration, and happiness. While also carry the connotation of grace and elegance, as well as sweetness and poetic romance. The meaning of pink rose varies from the shades of pink. For instance, deep pink roses are symbols of gratitude and appreciation, and are a common way to say thank you. Whereas light pink roses are associated with gentleness and sympathy, and can also be used to express compassion.

Orange rose – Desire;

Orange roses symbolize the bridge between friendship and love. They can express fascination, be given to those who you desire, or those you want to get to know better. If you have someone you are proud of, orange roses are the best to present. Orange roses are perfect for minor academic achievements as well (first A, graduation from butcher academy, etc.).

Yellow rose – Joy, Get Well;

Yellow was always associated with sun and warmth, so they are outstanding to cheer people up, or to say “Get well”. Yellow roses also evoke feelings of delight, joy and purely platonic love. They are symbols of friendship and caring, and are an ideal way to say “Just Thank you for being you”.

Mixed/colorful roses – Bouquet of emotions;

When you mix roses of different colors you express all your deep and frank emotions. For instance, mix of red and white roses means intensive Love, honorable intentions or unity. Combination of red and yellow roses expresses happiness and cheerfulness.
